VERITY® GPC Cleanup System with optional VERITY® 1741 UV-VIS Detector can be used in cleanup procedures that use organic solvents for the mobile phase and a specialized column packed with a divinylbenzene-styrene copolymer. This method is recommended for the postextraction elimination of lipids, polymers, copolymers, proteins, natural resins, cellular components, and other high molecular weight compounds from the analytes of interest. The UV detector can be utilized by laboratories complying with GPC post-extraction guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The UV detector calibrates the GPC column, ensuring regulation standards.
